James Sampair, CPA

Jim Sampair has worked in the investment, retirement and tax planning industry since 1991. Prior to founding his own firm he honed his expertise, first with institutional investment firms as clients and employers, and then with individuals and executives of large company's with complex financial planning needs. In addition to working with cleints Jim specializes as portfolio manager of the Old School Growth strategy. His passion though is working for real people, helping them solve everyday financial planning and retirement strategy mystery's, turning the mystery in the a well known plan. His experience in tax planning and preparation makes his experience truly unique, since no retirement plan is complete without a well thought out tax strategy. He uses the breadth of knowledge to provide his clients a clear path to living the life they desire! Jim enjoys spedning weekends reading investment research and looking for tax efficient retirement strategies that will benefit his clients. He also enjoys his family, skiing, his black labs, and his Harley Road King Classic.

Jim is a 1989 graduate of the University of St. Thomas where he earned a B.A. in Business with Accounting Major. He passed the Certified Public Accounting exams earning him the distinguished designation of CPA in 1993.
